The magic of letting go...

Gradually setting ourselves free where and how we want to.

I hope this is a fun one for you today.

I also hope that the following illustrates a powerful magical truth – that banishing (or releasing) is a magical technique that is equally (if not more) powerful as manifesting (or calling in).

Liberating ourselves makes space and magic delights in spaciousness.

First, let’s set the scene.

I’ve grown up in L.A. and have lived in California my whole life.

When I was little, I loved to play dress up. My friend and I would wrap old sheets and towels around ourselves, trying to “make fashion”. I looked at fashion magazines and also at myself in the mirror.

One of my most memorable gifts I’ve ever received was an almost life-sized Barbie head that you could put makeup on. (I eventually ruined her - using markers on her face, putting nail polish on her lips and cutting her hair wildly; but I really enjoyed her before I destroyed her.)

The best hand-me-down I was ever given (from a teenage neighbor) was a Jordache sweatshirt with a big horse head that covered the front diagonally, its flowing mane running down one sleeve. (I wish I still had this sweatshirt.)

I am a Venusian. I love beautiful things, I enjoy ‘getting ready’ to go out and I love feeling good in my clothes.
